[00:00:10] So Bear Stance really was kind of... I think they were kind of indifferent like they
[00:00:16] obviously wanted us to get recruited and commit and go to those Power Five schools or any
[00:00:24] school that affiliated with the Babusters.
[00:00:28] But they also... I could tell there is also like, they're really young.
[00:00:32] Because the recruiting age started to get a younger and younger and they're like,
[00:00:36] I feel like there's a lot of pressure on them too to get us recruited early because a lot
[00:00:40] of other girls were recruited early.

[00:02:05] Now there's bugs outside folks.
[00:02:10] So now, so last week we just ended second year 12s.
[00:02:15] We got third place left the trophy.
[00:02:18] Left the trophy on home play.
[00:02:21] Now it's used as a dorset hub, right?
[00:02:25] Now we get selected so that from the USA Select Championship
[00:02:31] that girl, Damien,
[00:02:35] one of Lepres Lepres.
[00:02:38] LaPrie.
[00:02:39] LaPrie.
[00:02:41] Yeah.
[00:02:41] Oh, we're LaPrie.
[00:02:44] So Jamie LaPrie, so she created this camp
[00:02:47] called the Select 30.
[00:02:50] So what happens is you get invited to this camp.
[00:02:53] It's a lot of girls from all across the nation.
[00:02:56] Different girls, girls that you played against.
[00:02:59] You know the Mojo team, the Georgia impact,
[00:03:04] you know, sudden impact.
[00:03:05] So there was really some really good girls
[00:03:07] got selected and then what happens is after the camp,
[00:03:11] the top 30, not top.
[00:03:13] I want to say top 30 because there's some girls that didn't get picked.
[00:03:17] We felt that shit of, but
[00:03:19] kind of explain who was selected from our team, the 12 views.
[00:03:25] And then kind of the process or your thought process on the camp and getting selected.
[00:03:32] Yeah, so it was me and three other of my teammates that got ticked to go and attend.
[00:03:40] I don't
[00:03:42] that the process is like a little blurry to me on how,
[00:03:46] because for a picture it's different than
[00:03:50] because I mean, I think at this time I'm no longer hitting.
[00:03:55] Maybe I don't know.
[00:03:57] I'm not hitting.
[00:03:58] Well, I'm just.
[00:03:59] Yeah, you hit it because I was looking back at the championship game in Kansas City.
[00:04:04] You actually hit you better night.
[00:04:07] I don't really know.
[00:04:09] No, I remember hitting a ground ball of first-based.
[00:04:13] That's it though.
[00:04:15] And then I got pinched.
[00:04:18] But I don't remember what I mean.
[00:04:22] It's sort of like a normal, if anyone's been to an on-debt camp,
[00:04:26] kind of like that where they have all the catchers and all the pictures lined up
[00:04:30] on the field and they're all kind of pitching at the same time
[00:04:33] and to get warmed up and just like practice spins.
[00:04:36] And then I think they narrowed it down to two at a time
[00:04:43] so they can like more,
[00:04:47] what is it?
[00:04:50] Just look at you and be more focused on certain people.
[00:04:54] And I'm clocking you and make see out faster throwing or your spins.
[00:05:00] And then what else?
[00:05:05] I think that was it for me.
[00:05:06] And then there's like the D-trends and Hiddings part of it.
[00:05:10] And then it was like a couple days and then like the night before the select 30 game,
[00:05:17] they send out the you know out the list.
[00:05:19] And then you show up at a certain time.
[00:05:22] Then you get a shirt, some gear.
[00:05:25] We got some I got a helmet.
[00:05:28] They gave me a helmet.
[00:05:28] It was like eastern stuff.
[00:05:30] Yeah.
[00:05:31] Um, we sold it.
[00:05:33] Yeah.
[00:05:33] Yeah.
[00:05:34] We did because I didn't use it.
[00:05:36] I could hear the message.
[00:05:38] Yeah, because we knew you were going to be a PO
[00:05:40] yeah in the future.
[00:05:41] So we're like well she doesn't need a bat and she doesn't need a helmet anymore.
[00:05:45] Well, I was telling I was actually telling my pitching approach
[00:05:49] the other day because I teach hitting lessons as well.
[00:05:53] Not just pitching lessons if for like little ones
[00:05:56] in my usually they're all right handed.
[00:05:59] So I demo a swing left handed.
[00:06:01] So I've got pretty good at my left hand it's swing.
[00:06:04] Okay, and I told my pitching coach stay all the day that
[00:06:08] I had I've been going I regret not or like
[00:06:14] not like that I didn't keep hitting
[00:06:16] or in another lifetime I'm a power lefty hitter.
[00:06:21] Right.
[00:06:22] Yeah.
[00:06:23] Yeah, because you're a lot less friend your last lesson was with Mike
[00:06:29] uh and he wasn't even paying attention to you.
[00:06:32] I think he was on his phone most of the time.
[00:06:33] He's like well, I was going to be a pitcher only two.
[00:06:37] Right right right.
[00:06:38] All right.
[00:06:39] So anyway so um
[00:06:41] I one of my memories is there's a couple of memories.
[00:06:45] One is you pitched
[00:06:48] well you were talking about pitching to other
[00:06:49] catchers and they're you know evaluating you you're
[00:06:52] pitching to at the time that she was ranked maybe one or two in
[00:06:56] the nation the catcher.
[00:06:59] I'll read.
[00:06:59] I'll read.
[00:07:00] Yeah, I'll read.
[00:07:03] And um that was a pretty cool moment right because
[00:07:07] she was on Mojo and yeah.
[00:07:09] What would be this?
[00:07:10] Yeah when they beat us in second year 10 so
[00:07:13] you know now you're you know your 13 years old not nine or 10 or
[00:07:16] anymore so you know this is three years later you're
[00:07:19] pitching to the catcher that they you know they beat
[00:07:22] you in the 10 new national championship so
[00:07:24] that was pretty cool.
[00:07:25] I remember you guys taking you took a picture of the
[00:07:28] catcher of not Georgia impact but of
[00:07:32] impact goals remember KK as far as that.
[00:07:35] KK?
[00:07:36] Yeah.
[00:07:37] So you took a picture of what those two and
[00:07:40] their uniforms were dirty because they were
[00:07:44] catchers.
[00:07:45] Yeah.
[00:07:46] And your uniform was bright.
[00:07:49] I'll never forget it because they're just
[00:07:52] catches are always just you know they're just
[00:07:53] grimy all the time and then pitches
[00:07:55] right.
[00:07:56] Well, for it's he you know.
[00:07:58] Yeah.
[00:07:58] Clearly they split the teams in half so like 15 at 15
[00:08:03] once they selected the 30 and so there's one
[00:08:06] there's one team that had to wear
[00:08:09] all white so white pants white socks and then
[00:08:12] the other team had to wear like black pants
[00:08:14] black socks and I was on the team.
[00:08:17] They were.
[00:08:17] Yeah, they were.
[00:08:18] Maybe blue but like not everyone has
[00:08:19] maybe boot pants so it's like what if
[00:08:23] they didn't have maybe boot players.
[00:08:24] Yeah so that was no like they were pictures.
[00:08:26] Go ahead.
[00:08:27] Yeah.
[00:08:27] It was it was crazy but I still have that
[00:08:31] problem to this day where my my white
[00:08:33] pants are just.
[00:08:35] Precisely clean and there's no dirt whatsoever
[00:08:38] mostly on my like right leg if I have to
[00:08:40] white dirt off my hand but that's it
[00:08:43] that's literally it.
[00:08:45] Yeah, except for that one game where you
[00:08:48] feel the feel the ball down the first
[00:08:49] base and you tripped and fell.
[00:08:52] Then there was some maybe there might
[00:08:53] have been grass stay in thought.
[00:08:56] Do you remember that?
[00:08:57] It wasn't grass it was dirt it was.
[00:09:00] We'll talk about that play later because
[00:09:01] that's in my college days.
[00:09:03] That's not even at the stage.
[00:09:05] Okay anyway so redigrats anyway so
[00:09:11] So yeah the night before the select 30 comes
[00:09:15] out they choose 30 and three of the girls
[00:09:19] that are on your team don't get chosen right
[00:09:22] and yeah how did you how did you
[00:09:24] feel about that?
[00:09:27] I obviously we show that
[00:09:31] everybody should be on that team because we were
[00:09:32] like they were that good.
[00:09:34] I just felt like I mean I felt just
[00:09:38] really bad because
[00:09:40] I just wondered why I got chosen and my
[00:09:43] teammates didn't because I just thought
[00:09:44] they were like
[00:09:46] as good or even better than I was and they
[00:09:48] I mean they weren't
[00:09:50] Lex was another pitcher but then there's
[00:09:52] like Totsie and Hannah who played
[00:09:53] the outfield positions and it's like
[00:09:56] it made me wonder how they chose
[00:09:57] the 30 but then we kind of talked about it
[00:10:00] and it was I in my opinion I thought
[00:10:04] because there's four of us imagine having
[00:10:05] all four of the girls and the same on
[00:10:08] the same team yeah be chosen for out of
[00:10:11] 30 30 girls and I don't know how many
[00:10:14] girls went to this camp maybe over 200
[00:10:17] but maybe over 100 I don't know.
[00:10:20] Yeah there was more
[00:10:21] fielders than there were pictures so
[00:10:24] you know they yeah so
[00:10:26] well I mean we don't know why they didn't
[00:10:27] get chosen. I mean you know Hannah
[00:10:30] had as an Oklahoma and
[00:10:32] one that's one but yeah so like
[00:10:37] you know you can't it's hard to
[00:10:40] evaluate a 13 year old right because
[00:10:41] you know they some some grow later on
[00:10:44] in life and they you know then the
[00:10:45] Hannah did and like we're shoes now so
[00:10:49] so yeah so they split the team up
[00:10:51] you play a game you know it's just like
[00:10:54] an all-star game you know I think I think
[00:10:56] you pitch maybe any maybe two
[00:11:02] right yeah so we we're done with that
[00:11:05] we're in Alabama which was super fun right
[00:11:07] when we get to hang out the other there's
[00:11:10] three other girls family and we hang out
[00:11:11] in Alabama we try to sneak into
[00:11:13] Alabama stadium and we go to Auburn
[00:11:16] you know a pretty fun stuff we get back
[00:11:21] and we go camping we rent an RV we go
[00:11:24] down to San Diego we were camping and we
[00:11:26] get a phone call who do we get a phone
[00:11:28] call from lace mark Campbell
[00:11:32] mark Campbell if you if you guys really see
[00:11:34] you don't know Mark Campbell he's probably
[00:11:35] one of the
[00:11:40] 14 you he's had multiple national
[00:11:42] championships at the 14 level for
[00:11:44] Bapusters he's he multiple girls have
[00:11:48] come through room to get to Mike Steth
[00:11:50] to get to you know those power five
[00:11:53] colleges so um college coaches go to
[00:11:57] mark first and we're going to talk about
[00:12:00] that second about recruiting they go
[00:12:02] to him first to ask about certain
[00:12:04] girls and so being on his team is like
[00:12:09] okay this is serious time this is now
[00:12:12] we're gonna get recruited by these power
[00:12:14] five teams right or we're gonna get
[00:12:16] looked at none we're recruited right and
[00:12:19] this is all bushmore the rule changed so
[00:12:22] their stance really was kind of I think
[00:12:26] they were kind of indifferent like they
[00:12:28] they obviously wanted us to get
[00:12:31] recruited and commit and go to those
[00:12:33] power five schools or any any school
[00:12:38] that affiliated with the Bapusters but
[00:12:40] they also I could tell there is also like
[00:12:43] they're really young like because the
[00:12:47] recruiting age started to get a younger and
[00:12:48] younger and they're like I feel like there's
[00:12:50] a lot of pressure on them too to get us
[00:12:52] recruited early because a lot of other
[00:12:54] girls were recruited early and you
[00:12:56] gotta keep the image of your organization
[00:13:00] so but they also knew hey these these
[00:13:04] girls are really young and they're deciding
[00:13:06] on colleges so they were kind of in between
[00:13:11] and I think they were pushing for the rule to
[00:13:13] get changed a little bit by the day because
[00:13:16] how can you how can you know at 13 right
[00:13:20] I think one of the girls that got recruited
[00:13:22] right Reagan wall you know you got
[00:13:24] recruited a grader she committed it as an
[00:13:26] a scat and she's there now so yeah
[00:13:29] I worked out right but not not also
[00:13:32] worked out right so it's crazy that
[00:13:34] they're committing to a certain college
[00:13:36] because you don't know what who's gonna
[00:13:38] be the coach you don't know what major
[00:13:40] you're gonna be it's gotta be the right fit
[00:13:43] right it's just not because of the softball
[00:13:46] it's all these other things that come
[00:13:49] to play when you get the college so
[00:13:51] that's crazy that they're go ahead
[00:13:53] right now right now I'm studying psychology
[00:13:57] minor and kinesiology but I think at like 14
[00:14:02] I was wanting to be like a marine biologist
[00:14:07] or something like that that was like my first
[00:14:09] ever one that I ever thought about doing
[00:14:12] and you're really into sharks so I think at
[00:14:14] the time you were just like hey I want to hang
[00:14:16] it on those sharks well I just love I love
[00:14:19] ocean I love all of that stuff
[00:14:21] um I found it interesting I wanted to go
[00:14:23] to Hawaii like all this stuff I had this whole
[00:14:26] plan but uh I just knew I loved sports
[00:14:31] and that's kind of when I started thinking
[00:14:32] about like athletic training or something
[00:14:35] like that yeah see I didn't even know
[00:14:38] so how am I supposed to school that has the best
[00:14:41] options for me yeah so um so talk talk about
[00:14:47] a little bit so we get the call from mark
[00:14:49] um you know this is big time now is I mean
[00:14:53] it's 13 come on it's like you know at the
[00:14:55] time we're just like oh my god it's so huge
[00:14:58] or you know we're gonna you know at least she's
[00:15:00] gonna start in you know look that you know
[00:15:03] which is crazy um but not all of the girls
[00:15:08] from that 12-year team got invited so
[00:15:12] kind of touch upon that a little bit and what
[00:15:15] you've shown it now I'll tell you how how we
[00:15:17] fell it you take it it was it was definitely
[00:15:22] different as you're like because now you're
[00:15:26] bringing some of the top recruits in
[00:15:29] California all together on one team and
[00:15:33] I'm not playing with the girls that I played
[00:15:35] which since I was mine who I thought are
[00:15:38] deemed worthy of being on that team as well so
[00:15:42] it was I was kind of in between I was I just kind
[00:15:44] of got had to get used to it um but for younger
[00:15:48] girls like when I teach my lessons they then
[00:15:51] always say like oh I'm on my friends team like I made
[00:15:55] I made this team and all my friends are on it
[00:15:57] and then I've had a few where they're like I had to leave my
[00:16:01] I had to leave my team but I had all my friends on
[00:16:04] it so I'm like I'm really sad but I think
[00:16:08] that's just a part of growing up especially like
[00:16:13] just in life in general you're gonna have
[00:16:16] friendships dissipate and they're you're gonna grow
[00:16:18] apart but especially in the softball world you
[00:16:20] have to get used to friends weaving or you
[00:16:23] leaving to go to a different team for your own
[00:16:26] benefit so um yeah playing with these new
[00:16:31] girls they're really good like I have a
[00:16:34] that really good decent behind me um we're
[00:16:37] working with the 18s team with Mike's team we
[00:16:40] practice with them all the time so we're
[00:16:43] getting just a taste of what it's like to be
[00:16:45] at that top level at that 18s team um but yeah
[00:16:50] it was just it wasn't a complete shift
[00:16:55] but it was just like uh it was definitely in a
[00:16:57] a different mindset because now you say like the
[00:17:00] college is starting to look at you um like you have to
[00:17:08] like what they say like the name aren't the front of your
[00:17:10] chest like you have to represent that yeah and
[00:17:14] yeah just yeah sure or you know yeah you're
[00:17:18] playing with the 18s uh you didn't play with
[00:17:20] it is typically like during high schools
[00:17:24] you know we'd play in the weekends every once in a
[00:17:26] while but um yeah I mean the 18s all those
[00:17:30] girls are power five commits right and so you're
[00:17:34] looking up these those girls like okay that could
[00:17:36] be me someday right so then the pressure is
[00:17:38] on that way um you're not the number one
[00:17:42] pitcher anymore at this time too right um yeah
[00:17:45] we have a staff now these girls that came on
[00:17:48] the team you actually competed against them
[00:17:49] 12s and so now some of these girls that you
[00:17:52] competed against and they were on rival teams
[00:17:55] now your teammates you know now as parents we were
[00:18:01] you know these were our rivals and we were like we didn't hate them
[00:18:05] but it's like you know hey you guys are are
[00:18:08] entered at this point now we're joining forces
[00:18:11] and we're on the same team now that we have to
[00:18:13] you know work managed to work together so uh for me as a parent
[00:18:18] knowing that you guys were on this elite team
[00:18:21] you're gonna get looked at by colleges I was super proud
[00:18:25] but I was super nervous at the time because um you know
[00:18:29] you know we go to these we go to these tournaments in Colorado if you guys don't
[00:18:33] know Colorado is one of the top
[00:18:36] tournaments that where college coaches come look at you
[00:18:38] and that's where a lot of the action happens right
[00:18:41] that's where a lot of the coaches start talking to the
[00:18:44] trouble-able coaches and hey you know who's your you know who's this
[00:18:48] and who's this and and so you know that that's when
[00:18:52] it starts getting again you're 13 right yes um so it was
[00:18:59] it was nerve wracking right I was excited for you
[00:19:02] but it was also nerve wracking because you know I go as a parent
[00:19:07] I'm seeing you pitch every single game
[00:19:10] you know in these nerve wracking games to you're not pitching
[00:19:13] every game you're just it's every once in a while right um so I
[00:19:18] I have to change my mindset as a parent now I'm strictly parent right
[00:19:22] because i'm not an assistant coaching where they didn't want
[00:19:25] they didn't want some guy they didn't invite you back
[00:19:29] no they didn't invite me back so I was disappointed no I wasn't
[00:19:33] this but it's now I'm just a parent right yeah and so
[00:19:38] you know I have to take a step I have to take a farther step back as far as
[00:19:42] who's you know the team and where I fit um
[00:19:49] so this was a this is word kind of mental the mental aspect kind of comes into
[00:19:56] play right um again reading starts to pick up
[00:20:01] pressure from this elite teams elite coach you're
[00:20:05] practicing with the 18s Mike Steth you know there's you know there's
[00:20:09] captions up there of some of the best practices and
[00:20:13] you had top practices with Chris when we could talk about Chris to Chris
[00:20:16] at the time you know in 12 he's like oh I'm preparing you for
[00:20:20] Mark Campbell and Mike Steth that's my job
[00:20:23] and then when that time came he's like well wait
[00:20:26] I kind of want to keep you guys you know yeah
[00:20:30] you know and that would have been awesome right but if you guys just
[00:20:33] stayed together all the way through 18s that you know how much fun and
[00:20:38] you wouldn't look a bit competitive would you been the national champions at
[00:20:41] some point maybe not but it would have been cool to kind of keep you guys
[00:20:44] all together it didn't happen it got split up um he wasn't very happy about it
[00:20:51] uh which of where because he was promoting Mark Campbell Mike Steth and then
[00:20:54] when it happened it gives us like so uh it is what it is at the time
[00:21:00] um what are your thoughts of the practices um
[00:21:04] and how intense they were I mean again your 12-year practices were in
[00:21:08] Tanskis Chris was you know he was kind of simulating when
[00:21:11] Mark and Mike did and then once you got to Mark and talk about that a little
[00:21:16] group I mean they were they were very similar
[00:21:20] very similar um but now we're we're kind of
[00:21:24] integrating with uh Stena as well so we're practicing with the older girls
[00:21:29] um which when you get older and you're practicing with the younger ones
[00:21:34] there's kind of like a hierarchy there so I kind of got a taste of
[00:21:39] who the leaders were uh we always had to listen to them like
[00:21:46] uh oh like if we'd always get blamed if that we had to run
[00:21:51] I mean well of course because we're a younger teen we're not as experienced
[00:21:56] so sometimes there'd be there'd be times where we we'd would mess up and
[00:21:59] everyone had to run and then obviously we got kind of
[00:22:04] calc down to a little bit which I personally
[00:22:09] I thought it was normal but right now like I wouldn't take that
[00:22:13] because like we're just trying to learn like we're we're younger than you
[00:22:19] there's no reason to just talk down on I mean possibly your fellow
[00:22:24] teammates like we're part of the same organization
[00:22:26] we're not playing each other like I would say
[00:22:32] we would want to like try and help them there were some girls where they
[00:22:35] were they were amazing like they would try and help you through certain things
[00:22:40] and I really encourage you to or like give you advice like
[00:22:45] they because they knew things that we didn't yet by especially the new girls
[00:22:49] coming on to like some girls are just now becoming badlusters so they
[00:22:53] didn't know like the badmester way and so there were some some girls on that
[00:22:58] older team that really got it us through but there were some what's
[00:23:03] why are you so mean yeah well you know it was it was you know it's creating that
[00:23:08] mental toughness that was part of the part of being on those
[00:23:12] teams is is is you got it you got to be mentally tough right you're
[00:23:17] gonna go through these hard practices you're gonna have people yell in the
[00:23:20] screaming at you you're gonna have these older girls
[00:23:22] holding accountable even if it was in your fault
[00:23:26] yeah well your first year 14s you have all these elite girls on this team
[00:23:32] your coach by this the coach but you're not invited to PGA right so you
[00:23:39] you have to you have to qualify so we go I think it was Vegas or there's
[00:23:44] on about we have to go and we have to qualify and what happens
[00:23:52] qualified qualified yeah it was great again
[00:23:58] uh it was it was fun because there's some of the girls that were on the
[00:24:02] 12s that were on this team so we had a lot of fun still um I think you're
[00:24:07] starting to get to know certain girls and um you know but again
[00:24:13] you're starting to get older now and there's clicks right
[00:24:16] there's like yeah go with the qualifies
[00:24:22] when we were when I was on christian i was like a pretty like deal
[00:24:27] like we love like it was gray we qualified for pgf but now
[00:24:32] now that I'm on marks team it's a standard so when we qualified
[00:24:39] like that talk after is like all right like let's go and pgf
[00:24:43] like it's not it's not great job on qualifying girls like that was amazing
[00:24:48] great job no that's it's business and that was the standard like nothing else

[00:25:20] we never went in celebrated at home plate we were just in the dugout
[00:25:24] step and you kind of just high five them as they came in
[00:25:28] but they just like you you see all these home run celebrations at home plate
[00:25:33] with all the team and you're hugging on blah blah we weren't allowed to do that
[00:25:37] so yeah i think it's yeah the motown it was the act like you've done before
[00:25:42] right so this yes yes it's not a special moment like this is supposed to happen
[00:25:47] right because because we prepare for this we
[00:25:50] do hitting lessons so you're this is supposed to happen if they miss their spot
[00:25:54] and we're not going to celebrate that right so um yeah so
[00:25:58] pitching wise too is like if you're if you have a few strikeouts or
[00:26:02] you get a one two three inning that's expected of you so it's not
[00:26:07] it's not like lacy like like that was great great game
[00:26:12] that was amazing no that's that's how it's supposed to be
[00:26:16] yeah that's what you're supposed to do so what's what so that
[00:26:20] that kind of starts like we're talking about mental stuff
[00:26:23] yeah um for those of you that are listening that know me
[00:26:28] and you probably know this too of how much of a perfectionist is dying on
[00:26:32] and i want i need everything to be perfect so even nowadays like i still try
[00:26:38] i still try like pick pick out the bad things
[00:26:42] that i did rather than look at all the good things that i did
[00:26:47] so it kind of starts around now that kind of happens where
[00:26:53] is like yeah you had three strikeouts in a row but you walked the first
[00:26:57] batter so you're that ending was not ending was bad
[00:27:01] you know also i'm like oh shoot like yeah great job
[00:27:04] it's okay i'll see yeah great job you need three strikeouts to row but
[00:27:08] you you you you had a lead off walk and we can't we can't have that right
[00:27:13] so it kind of disregards like all the good that you did
[00:27:17] and imagine going through your whole like travel career with that being the
[00:27:25] standard and now i as a college athlete
[00:27:30] it kind of has to change where you kind of have to find a good first
[00:27:35] and really yeah folks trying focus on the good things
[00:27:41] yeah i mean it's all about again mental toughness that they were breaking
[00:27:44] you down so you can be mentally tough to get in the college right so
[00:27:48] um you get you get into pdf um we actually doing pretty well
[00:27:54] we end up playing the corona angels who was real good at the time
[00:27:59] um and this is the old so wait this is Colorado we play the angels
[00:28:06] no this is pdf now we're getting into pdf color on us or
[00:28:10] oh when or we did that so we play him twice lace we play him twice we play him
[00:28:14] a Colorado we had the car on a game i remember
[00:28:18] yeah that was a night game super excited cereloas who's at Florida
[00:28:23] of central Florida Florida um you know she's pitching
[00:28:28] we're actually i don't think she'd pitch and he's somebody else pissed we were
[00:28:31] beating them then they bring her in so this is the
[00:28:34] this is the game yeah super tight we scored like eight
[00:28:41] rungs yeah the person ain't nice or not
[00:28:46] yeah anyway so we end up losing that game because a winner goes on to the
[00:28:51] championship of Colorado and that's like a big deal in Colorado i think you get
[00:28:56] money i think if you win money towards the
[00:29:00] so we lose that game the pdf we face them again
[00:29:05] we're winning again they tie it they go out or now it's tied
[00:29:10] um we lose we have to come back the next morning
[00:29:15] play marcato we play a yeah a first first year 14 is marcato
[00:29:21] no you know what that's second year 14th that's second year fortunate i
[00:29:26] f i don't know you're 14 that yeah so first year 14
[00:29:32] i'm not sure how we did i forgot it yeah i think we want to
[00:29:37] we i think we don't want to we didn't do very well um my

[00:29:43] yeah for yeah first first year 14 is i think we maybe went two and two i'm not
[00:29:48] sure but um but yeah so pressure is starting right
[00:29:54] and we'll get into second year 14s because now it's like prime recruiting
[00:30:01] yeah and and again you're on the c elite team like you know in fact you know
[00:30:05] we talked about massive so uh mom and i go to Vegas every year right
[00:30:10] so we're at the we're at this hotel pool i don't
[00:30:13] have ever told you this but um we're at this hotel pool and
[00:30:17] this guy's asking me about you or my family and i say oh yeah my
[00:30:21] my dad plays you know softball he's like oh really
[00:30:25] for for who and i said uh mark camel he's like and it's like he perked up
[00:30:29] he's like oh really he's like well i go why and he goes well i'm his
[00:30:33] assistant coach at Fresno State uh softball you said it was
[00:30:37] you said it was Oregon well he wasn't assistant at Oregon yet he was
[00:30:41] assistant at Fresno and next year he went to Oregon yeah so he
[00:30:46] he's at Fresno State and he's like oh my gosh
[00:30:50] and so he's like oh she'll never she'll never be on she'll never be in our
[00:30:53] it are in our conference and i'm like look where i am now
[00:30:58] i'm sure about that there uh oh yeah but anyway so
[00:31:03] you know that's that name you know it makes other coaches perk out like okay
[00:31:07] so at the time as a dad i felt like okay this is
[00:31:11] this is the right team to be out right because i run into this random
[00:31:15] softball coaching he's like oh yeah that's the team to be on right so
[00:31:18] um good stuff we'll get into second year 14's next episode which uh
[00:31:26] kind of starts kind of your your mental
[00:31:31] your mental road might we might need to make it two episodes
[00:31:34] we'll definitely make it two episodes just definitely a two episode or if you

[00:31:42] people are starting to commit on my team yeah um we're going to camps
[00:31:48] for college and soap traveling a bunch yeah on day and
